Karate Championship from 27 Nov

KARACHI: Pakistan Karate Federation (PKF) in collaboration with Anti-Narcotics Force Sindh is going to organize two-day karate championship program entitled “ANF Sindh National Junior & Cadet (Boys & Girls) Karate” at Karachi.

Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club, PKF President Mohammad Jahangir said that the championship will start from 27 November and conclude on 29 November 2015. He said that the teams from all affiliation units of Pakistan Karate Federation like WAPDA, Pakistan Army, Police, Railway, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad and FATA will participate in the championship.

He said aim to organizing championship is to hunt a talent from all levels. He said through the help of such championships lots of champions have won the gold and silver medals at national and international levels.

Jahangir also announced that the federation is organizing Junior & Cadet Karate Championships at national level. He said the opening ceremony of championship will be held on Sunday, 28 November 2015 at Sindh Board Sports Complex, Nazimabad Karachi.
