126 accused captured

KARACHI: South Zone police Karachi on Monday claimed to have arrested 126 accused in separate actions in different areas and recovered a large number of weapons, drugs and looted goods from their possession.

On the directives of SZ DIGP Dr Jamil Ahmed, police took three actions within three days in which two alleged suspects were killed. The police apprehended 15 suspects, including two Lyari gangsters, and one terrorist, four impersonators of private security guards, 12 drugs peddlers, seven gamblers and 86 wanted suspects.

The police recovered four Kalashnikovs, two repeater guns, 17 pistols, 21 magazines, four vehicles, hashish, gambling devices and stake money from their possessions.
