145 veterinary officers appointed in Sindh

LARKANA: Sindh Livestock and Fisheries Department has issued offer-cum-selection order letters to as many as 145 Veterinary Officers throughout Sindh province on three-year contract basis on the recommendation of Recruitment Committee and with the the approval of unknown competent authority.

One of the appointed fortunate person revealed to reporters here on Tuesday that those offer orders were signed by section officer-I of the mentioned department, Abdul Rehman Khaskheli. The appointees have been directed to report to the relevant district’s Deputy Director, Livestock/Animal Husbandry.

They will be paid Rs 50,000 per month salary on the terms and conditions that the job is non-transferrable and transfer request shall disqualify the employee for further retention in the office and for this purpose the appointee shall have to furnish undertaking/affidavit that he will not seek transfer from the post where he is appointed.

The appointments have been made under a program (not mentioned in the offer orders) and shall strictly be adhered to and will be governed by all the relevant services rules of Sindh government in vogue. The appointment is on purely contract basis and services can be terminated at any time with prior notice of 30 days without assigning any reason. The appointees shall not be eligible for extra ordinary leave during the contract period,.

Sources said that these appointments were made of those candidates who were trained under Benazir Youth Development Program in the past. It is pertinent to mention here that appointments are being made on contract basis which will be turned into regular jobs after passing a resolution in the Sindh Assembly.
