155 more dengue cases emerge in Karachi

KARACHI: Program Manager, Dengue Prevention & Control Program, Sindh, Dr Masood Solangi on Wednesday said as many as 162 more dengue fever cases have been reported throughout the Sindh province in a week out of which 155 were detected from Karachi alone.

He said 162 dengue cases have been reported in the province from 31st August to 6th September 2015 out of which 155 were detected from Karachi, three each from Hyderabad and Larkana, while one case was reported from Ghotki. He informed that three people have died from dengue fever this year so far.

Dr Solangi said a total 1207 dengue case have been reported throughout the province Since January 2015 out of which 1169 were appeared from Karachi city.
