3-day anti police campaign kicks off in Nasirabad

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Three day anti polio campaign was underway during which 1, 33,843 children would be administered polio drops.

This was stated by District Health Officer Nasirabad Abdul Mannan Lalai told Newsmen at a briefing.

He said that polio drive would be made successful at every cost. He said 331 women mobile teams, 129 transit points, 28 fixed centres and 63 area incharges have been posted for the drive.

He aid in 25 Union councils of Nasirabad 1, 33, 843 children would be fed polio drops to children upto five years of age.

He said Polio free country needs effective role of all the people from every walk of life and parents, Ulema, lawyers, teachers, Zamindars, political parties leaders and community as a whole should extend cooperation with Health department and feed polio drops to their children to save them from total disability.
