39 professors, other staff recruited for CMC Larkana

LARKANA: Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU), Larkana, has recruited as many as 39 professors, associate professors, assistant professors and senior registrars for Chandka Medical College here on Wednesday to fill the vacant posts of basic and clinical sides and teaching faculty.

Out of these 39, nine are professors, six associate professors, 16 assistant professors and eight senior registrars. All are doctors except two pharmacists. The professors (BS-21) who have been taken on job include Dr. Kanwal Kumar (Forensic Medicine), Manzoor Ahmed Unar (Pharmacology), Mohammad Hanif Shaikh (Biochemistry), Akbar Ali Soomro (Pathology), Shahida Magsi & Fauzia Kashif Tabani (Gynaecology & Obs), Partab Rai (Ophthalmology), Alam Ibrahim (Neurology) & Riaz Hussain Shah (Chest). Associate professors (BS-20) include Saeed Ahmed (Community Medicine), Ghulam Shabir Shaikh (Pathology), Shaista Abro & Fauzia Abbasi (Gynaecology & Obs), Manzoor Phulpoto (Chest), Imdad Ansari (Medicine) & Abdul Rauf Khaskheli (pharmacy). Assistant Professors (BS-19) include Ali Gul Tunio (pharmacology), Ihsanullah (anatomy), Saeed Akhtar Tunio (biochemistry), Jai Krishan (Pathology), Barkat Ali Kumbhar & Sham Lal (physiology), Fauzia Shaikh & Shazia (gynaecology & Obs), Mohammad Aslam Shaikh (neurosurgery), Mohammad Iqbal Soomro (urology), Rajesh Kumar (Cardiology), Asif Ali (Paeds Medicine), Raheel Ahmed Channa (Neurology), Barkat Ali Wagan (psychiatry), Mr. Fahad Jibran Siyal & Mr. Waseem Abbas (pharmacy department). Senior Registrars (BS-19) include Nadia Bhatti & Abdul Ghani Shaikh (Surgery), Rizwana Dargahi (Ophthalmology), Safiullah Sohoo (Urology), Syed Fayyaz Mujtaba (Cardiology), Sultan Ahmed (Chest) and Pardeep Kumar (Paeds Medicine).
