4th International CSR summit, awards on Feb 12

KARACHI: The 40 Corporate companies will be honoured with the CSR awards in a grand 4th International CSR summit, Awards & CSR Gallery on February 12th, 2015 at a local hotel. The event is organized by The Professionals Network with the support of WWF, Indus Hospital, TCF, Amantech, Hands, MALC, UNGC, DGF and various other NGO’s. The theme of the event is bridging the gap between corporate and NGO’s.

Various known personalities including senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Sirajuddin Aziz, Sohail P Ahmed, Emill Wyss, Nadeem Hussain, M Abdullah Yousuf, Hadi Santoso, Ateeq Ur Rehman, Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, Dr. Ruth Pfaw, Saeed Allahwala and Zeba Bakhtiar will be the key speakers at the event. 24 NGO’s and Corporate companies will be putting up their stalls at the CSR Art Gallery to showcase their exemplary services in the field of CSR. This was informed by Mehmood Tareen, founder and CEO of the professionals network.

Over 250 senior executives from world’s biggest brands including; P&G, Mitsubishi, Nestle, Getz, FFBL, JSBL, Clariant, KFC, Abbott, Bayer, SSGC, NBP, UBL, K-Electric and many more will be attending the event. The objective of event is to provide an innovative platform of interaction and networking, while creating awareness about CSR among the conference delegates and award participants. The experts from various Corporate Companies, International NGOs, Academia and International Donor Agencies will be the part of these activities and will also discuss the emerging concepts and issues related to CSR in Pakistan and provide remedies based on practical approaches and implementation techniques.
