51st annual medical symposium continues in JPMC

KARACHI: The 51st Annual Medical Symposium continued on 4th day at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, while the concluding ceremony will be held on 17 December at Najmuddin Auditorium.

The theme of 2015 annual medical symposium is “Ethics in Medical Practices”. Prof Nadeem Ahmed Rizvi is the chairman of 51st Annual Medical Symposium.

On fourth day of medical symposium, various sessions on Nephrology & Urology, General Medicine-III (Diabetic), Radio Oncology, Gynaecology & Nursing and Paramedics were held under the supervision eminent doctors.

A session on Gynaecology was held at Najmuddin Auditorium under chairperson of Prof Hasan Fatima Jaffery, Co-chairperson Prof Tazeen Abbas, and Secretary Dr Nasreen Fatima.

During this session, young doctors presented their papers on different topics like maternal mortality, breast feeding, and others. The panel discussion was also held on this occasion.

In the end of panel discussion, certificates were also distributed in young doctors. The concluding ceremony of 51st Annual Medical Symposium will be held on 17 December at JPMC.
