53,814 Hajj applicants declared successful

Islamabad:,,, Fifty-three thousand eight hundred and fourteen Hajj applicants have been declared successful for the coming Hajj. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Friday afternoon, Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said in all 127586 applied for Hajj under Government scheme. He said those who deposited their applications by 10.00 a.m. on April 21 have been declared successful.

The Minister said intending pilgrims should deposit their machine readable passports through their banks by June 10. The Minister said the successful applicants can check their names on the Ministry’s website hajjinfo.org while letters will also be sent to them on their given addresses. He said the applicants who could not be selected can collect their money from the concerned banks.
