Accused remanded to jail custody in SHO murder case

KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism court (ATC) on Monday remanded two accused, Irfanullah and Amanullah, to jail custody for 14 days in Ghazanfar Kazmi murder case.

Police produced the accused before ATC judge under tight security. The Investigation Officer submitted before the court that both accused were no more required for investigation. The court remanded the accused to jail custody for 14 days with the direction to jail authorities to produce the accused on 24 November.

SHO Preedy Ghazanfar Kazmi was shot dead in a target attack on 13 August 2014 when armed assailants fired shot at his car near Uncle Sarya Hospital in Garden within the limits of Nabi Buksh police station. He was shot multiple times and died on the spot.
