Accused remanded to police custody in murder case

Karachi: The judicial Magistrate West remanded an accused Abdur Rehman alias Bhola to police custody for eight days in a murder case.

The police produced the suspect before the judicial Magistrate West under tight security. IO requested the court to allow the physical remand of the accused as the police wanted to map out his connections and other criminal activities. The court accepted the police request and remanded the accused to their custody for eight days.

According to the prosecution, the accused was involved in killing of e Habib Khan in 2014 within the limits of Site-A police station.

According to the sources, the accused is also said to be the main culprit in a Baldia factory fire case; however, he was remanded in a murder case.
