Administrator directs to finalise arrangements for Shab-e-Barat

KARACHI: Administrator Karachi Rauf Akhtar Farooqui has directed municipal services department to take immediate steps for providing better facilities to citizens on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat.

He said that people should not be facing any difficulty or trouble on going to graveyards for offering Fateha on the night.

The municipal services department following these directives has requested all concerned departments of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation and the district administrators to pay immediate attention on the finalization of all arrangements for Shab-e-Barat including the cleanliness and repairing of chocked sewerage lines near and around graveyards and mosques along with the supply of potable water, proper lighting arrangements in graveyards, setting up of medical camps, cutting of bushes alongside the entrance of graveyards and fumigation spray program in and around all the graveyards of the city.
