Adviser: (Pak, Kyrgyzstan discuss ways, means to expedite regional connectivity)

ISLAMABAD: Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz met the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Abdyldaev Erlan Bekeshovich on the sidelines of the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Wednesday.

They discussed ways and means to expedite regional connectivity and trans-boundary energy and infrastructure projects. The two leaders also discussed regional situation in the context of Afghanistan and counter-terrorism.

Sartaj Aziz also met the Foreign Minister of Niger Ms. Kane’ Aichatou Bloulama and decided to convene the Pak-Niger Joint Commission at an early date, with a view to further enhancing economic and trade cooperation.
