Adviser: (Pakistan condemns terrorist attack on coalition troops in Yemen)

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack and killing of 60 soldiers of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in Yemen.

The Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, on behalf of the people and the Government of Pakistan conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families.

He said Pakistan has strongly condemned actions by Houthis to overthrow the legitimate government in Yemen led by President Hadi.

Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan firmly believes that peaceful settlement of the crisis in Yemen, in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution 2216, will significantly contribute to the efforts to promote peace and security in the region.
