AIGP visits Abdus Sattar Edhi

KARACHI: Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Karachi Ghulam Qadir Thebo on Monday visited noted social leader and philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi at Edhi Foundation office in Mithadar and assured him of arresting the bandits who looted his office.

He assured Edhi that police would soon be able to arrest the criminals and get them punished as per law. Edhi spokesman confirmed that AIGP visited Edhi and assured of apprehending criminals.

It may be noted that a gang of five bandits looted cash and gold worth millions of rupees from the office-cum-home of social leader Abdul Sattar Edhi in Mithadar area here on last Sunday. Political and social leaders have strongly condemned the incident.
