Al Khidmat treats 500 in free medical camps

KARACHI: Al Khidmat department of primary health established two free medical camps in the city on Monday.

Over 500 patients were provided treatment by expert physicians, eye-specialists and lady doctors in the camps that were set up in Quaidabad and Korangi. Eye-checking and sugar and blood tests were done of the visiting patients. Deserving patients were given free medicines as well.

Senior Manager Al Khidmat Manzar Alam while visiting the camps said Al Khidmat was committed to provide free medical facilities to citizens on their doorsteps; therefore, it was organizing free medical camps in the city on regular basis on every Sunday.

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Korangi Asif Ali, Manager Al Khidmat department of primary health Dr Kamran Jamshed and many volunteers of Al Khidmat were present.

Spokesman of Al Khidmat Karachi appealed from philanthropists to cooperate with Al Khidmat in welfare works so that the troubles of upset people could be removed.
