Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital’s bed capacity to be increased to 1100)

SIALKOT: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has approved a project of upgrading the Govt. Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital Sialkot by increasing its beds capacity to 1100 beds from existing 400 beds.

MPA Ch. Muhammad Ikram disclosed this while talking to the newsmen On Friday. Sialkot DCO Iftikhar Ali Sahu, Sialkot DOC Malik Abid Hussain Awan and Principal Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College Sialkot were also present on this occasion.

MPA revealed that the construction of establishing 100 beds well equipped Cardiac Unit at Govt. Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital Sialkot very soon for providing the better and advanced medical health cover to local heart patients at local level.

Meanwhile, the District government of Sialkot has given a dead line of completion of construction of the Academic and Admin Block and Boys hostel buildings at Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College Sialkot till the June 30, 2014.

Sialkot DCO Iftikhar Ali Sahu reviewed the pace of construction of this project, advising the concerned officials to jazz up the construction pace for ensuring the timely completion of this construction work till June 30, 2014.
