Altaf grieved at gas cylinder blast killings

KARACHI: The founder leader of Muttahida Quami Movement, Altaf Hussain has expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the killing of 12 people in a tragic incident of gas cylinder blast in a passenger van at Super Highway near Nooriabad, Jamshoro.

In a statement issued from London Secretariat, the MQM chief appealed to the people to convert their vehicles on petrol and diesel. He said that it was a usual happening that gas-cylinder blasts occurred in passenger vans, buses and private vehicles which cost number of precious lives.

Hussain said that faulty gas cylinder and their poor installation techniques mostly caused such tragic incidents. He appealed to the people not to use gas cylinder vehicles to avoid such incident. He also demanded of the government not to allow vehicles having substandard gas cylinders and poor installation techniques
