Altaf grieved at MPA Handery Masieh’s murder

KARACHI: The Founder and Leader of MQM Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the brutal murder of Handery Masieh, a non-Muslim MPA from Baluchistan Assembly, in Quetta.

In a statement released from London, Hussain said, “The murder of a non-Muslim MPA Handery Masieh is a serious act of terrorism. This kind of brutal act is being carried out to malign Pakistan. The provincial and federal governments should take this murder seriously.

Hussain demanded that prime minister, federal interior minister, governor Balochistan and chief minister Baluchistan should arrest the killers and prosecute them. He also demanded that the government should protect the life and property of non-Muslims.”

The MQM chief expressed heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family of MPA Masieh and said that he and his party shared their grief.
