Analysis: (Analysts for comprehensive Pakistan- India dialogue for establishing durable peace in the region)

ISLAMABAD: Political and Defence Analysts say that comprehensive dialogue between Pakistan and India should be used for establishing durable peace in the region.

Speaking at a public talk here, the Director General Institute of Strategic Studies and former Ambassador Masood Khan said two informal meetings between Prime Ministers of the two countries improved atmosphere for comprehensive dialogue between their Foreign Secretaries.

High Commissioner of India TCA Raghavan emphasized that both the countries should move forward. A tremendous societal change had taken place in both India and Pakistan.

Former ambassador Ashraf Jehangir Qazi pointed out that both the countries needed to maintain dialogue and hence move towards sustainable cooperation. Former ambassador Khalid Mahmood said comprehensive dialogue should be forwarded to address real issues of the region properly.
