APC calls for protest against load shedding in Naundero

NAUNDERO: All Parties Conference (APC) has called for protest on 24 March 2015 against 16-hour electricity load shedding being carried out in Naundero.

It is reported that a complete shutter down strike will be observed, Grid Station will be surrounded, sit-in will be staged in front of grid station. SEPCO Sub-Division Officer’s office will also be locked by the protesting residents.

APC was presided over by Ghulam Hyder Narejo, President, Shehri Action Committee (SAC), meeting of which was held at the municipal lawn here. Manzoor Mangi of Sindhi Adabi Sangat, Mazdoor Ittehad’s Sahab Khan Shaikh, TNFJ’s Mumtaz Sethar, Mushtaque Kumbhar of JSQM, Abdul Salam Dharejo of JUI-Fazal, Javed Bhutto of PML-Nawaz, Waryam Channo & Salim Channo of PPP-SB, Aijaz Bhutto of Sachal Ittehad, Murli Dhar of Hindu Panchyat, Abdul Khalique Bhutto of Kiryana Merchants Association, PTA’s Khuda Mirani, Nasim Mangnejo of PML-Functional, Manzoor Mirani of Tailor Masters Association, Seth Baghchand of Goldsmiths Association, Abdul Rahman Kandhar of Cloth Merchant Association, Pervaiz Mirani of Electronic Market Akbar Abbasi, Ihsan Dayo and other political, religious, literary and social welfare organization representatives participated in the meeting.

Ruling PPP was ironically not invited to attend the meeting due to untold political reasons. The APC meeting unanimously decided and resolved to start massive struggle against, what they termed, highhandedness and step-motherly treatment meted out by the federal government with the citizens of Naundero from March 24 which will continue till prolonged power outage timings are reduced as per the announced policy of the federal government. While talking to Reporters here these leaders said that Naunderians are being revenged by the rulers for being the voters & supporters of Bhutto leaders. They further complained that students cannot prepare themselves in the night time for their on-going annual examinations and economic crisis like situation has surfaced due to non-supply of electricity.
