APC warns for stern action if reservations about Western route of CPEC

Peshawar: All Parties Conference (APC) called by JUI in its joint declaration demanded of the federal government to implement the decisions of APC held on 28th May and informed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan about the details of all projects included in western route of China Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Briefing media bout the decisions of APC, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rahman said that All Parties Conference in its joint declaration demanded of the federal government to remove reservations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan about the western route of CPEC and make clear about various projects like gas, electricity, railway line, industrial zones, optical fiber and LNG and till that where and when these projects will be established on western route.

“ if federal government failed to satisfy us then we will jointly take stern action to ensure all projects on the western routes of CPEC” Maulana Fazal said adding that APC has constituted a committee constituting JUI, JI, ANP, PKMAP, PML (N), PML (Q), PPP and PTI.

He said that APC termed the China Pakistan Economic Corridor as new era of development for which nation is thankful to Allah. “This economic corridor has changed Pak-China friendly relations in to Pak-China economic relations and we honoured China’s investment in Pakistan,” Maulana said.

Flanked by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak, Aftab Ahmad Khan, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Iqbal Zafar Jaghra, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, Sahibzada Tariqullah, Khanzada Khan and others, he said that the new western route is not the same which they had agreed in APC on 28th May.

On this occasion Chief Minister KP Pervez Khattak said that provincial government has not sent any proposals to the federal government for inclusions in western route of economic corridor. He said that the western route is just like a road therefore no proposals will be sent from KP government.
