APCA holds protest demonstration

KARACHI: All Pakistan Clerk Association (APCA) held a demonstration for their demands. outside the Karachi Press Club (KPC) on Wednesday.

A large number of protestors from different federal and provincial departments, carrying placards and banners, raised slogans in favor of their demands and against the government. The protest was led by Malik Khursheed Qadri, Qadir Hussain, and others.

Addressing the protestors, their leaders said that federal government has increased by 100% the salaries of the privileged officers but increased salaries of lower staff by just 10%. The procedure of promotion has also suspended in many government institutions.

They asked the government to immediately fulfil their demands; otherwise, they will stage a demonstration outside the chief minister house.
