Peshawar: Apex committee of the Province in its 40th meeting held with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan in the chair at Governor’s House on Thursday reviewed overall security, law and situation in the Province and Federal Administered Tribal Areas.
The meeting was also attended by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khan Khattak, Corps Commander Peshawar Lt. Gen Hidayat ur Rehman, IGFC, IGP, Chief Secretary, Secretary Home, Secretary Law and Order FATA.
The Governor reviewed the implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) and directed the FATA Secretariat to start speedy rehabilitation of TDPs in FATA.
The meeting discussed the recent suicide bomb blast in Imambargh and strongly condemned all kind of terror incidents. The Governor said that our country should be make clean from militancy by strict security provisions. No space or margin should be given to these ruthless terrorists and militants should be rooted out from the nook & corner of our country.
Meanwhile the meeting was also briefed about the pace of progress on the ongoing security measures as well as the rehabilitation arrangements in the effected areas. The meeting also discussed the future needs coupled with the available options for generating financial resources to materialize development project.
