Appointment letters among 44 Junior Clerks distributed, Atif

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary & Secondary Education, Muhammad Atif on Wednesday distributed appointment letters amongst 44 newly appointed junior clerks at Archives Hall Peshawar and hoped that the successful candidates would work honestly.

He said the PTI government was seriously endeavouring to uphold merit in appointments. He said, injustice was the basic reason of all problems confronted to Pakistan as well as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the dynamic leadership of Imran Khan was giving employment to people on merit for establishing a good society and a prosperous Pakistan. He said, this step would ensure eradication of injustice and sense of deprivation among the people.

Muhammad Atif said the appointment of junior clerks on merit was need of the hour. He said, the 44 junior clerks had been appointed on merit out of 5000 candidates. He said Imran Khan had instructed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to uphold merit in employing people in order to reform the system.

He directed all government departments to ensure merit and transparency while making appointment in their respective departments and do not give heed to recommendations of MPAs and MNAs.

He said if appointment were made on merit in the government departments, then the society would progress in real sense. Muhammad Atif said the PTI government would provide equal opportunities of development to people on merit throughout the province.

Earlier, addressing the ceremony Secretary Establishment Sikandar Qayyum said the 44 Junior Clerks had been appointed on merit after passing through a lengthy process and hoped that these Junior Clerks would work honestly and they would be promoted to higher grades through their hard work.
