Army (Red) retains National Taekwondo C’ship supremacy

Karachi: Army (Red), the defending champions of the tournament, retained the title after its players won gold medals in all of the 14 poomsae events in National Taekwondo Championship at Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The 14 gold medals won by Army players aggregated to 450 points for the team. Meanwhile, WAPDA reached the podium in second place after winning four silver and ten bronze medals, which gave the team 188 points.

Army (Green) secured third position winning six silver and four bronze medals, which aggregated to 175 points.
