Asian Parliamentary Assembly meets in Islamabad on Tuesday

Islamabad: The Senate of Pakistan will host a meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly on Tuesday. Around 30 to 40 delegates from different countries, including Afghanistan, Bahrain, Cambodia, Indonesia, Iran, Jordon and Syria are expected to participate in the meeting.

Its theme is “Transformation of APA into Asian Parliament”. Chairman Senate and President Asian Parliamentary Assembly Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari, First Vice President of National Assembly of Cambodia and Deputy Speaker of Syrian Parliament will address the inaugural session of the meeting.
