Asif Ali Zardari pleased about successful blood donation drive in Sindh

Islamabad: Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party former President Asif Ali Zardari has facilitated Senator Dr. Karim Khawaja, organizers and volunteers for collecting over 28000 bags of blood in Sindh alone during a special 3-day campaign launched by PPP on eve of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s 61st birthday anniversary on June 21.

The former President described the volunteers’ blood donation by such a large number of people for our defence forces, law enforcing personnel and victims of militancy as “political statement by the people of Pakistan to support the fight against militancy”.

He also thanked the campaign organizers and called for reports of party organized blood donation from other provinces.
