Assarani takes notice of attack on temple

KARACHI: Minister for Minority Affairs Sindh Giyan Chand Assarani has taken notice of desecration of Krishna Temple in Mithi on Tuesday.

He has directed DIG Mirpur Khas to take practical measures to stop such reprehensible acts and has asked director minority affairs to present report on the incident in 24 hours.

Assarani said that incidents of attacks on minorities’ worshipping places and theft were conspiracy to spread violence in the country and specially Sindh. “It is our prime responsibility to let not succeed such conspiracies.”

He said Sindh was a land of saints and Sufis where all the residents lived with peace, however enemies of country were conspiring to damage the identity of the province which should be dealt with iron hand and minorities and their worshipping places would be provided complete security.
