At least two die as trainer plane crashes in Karachi

KARACHI, At least two persons died when a training plane of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed at Yusuf Village near a bus terminal on Tuesday, said rescue sources.

Initial information suggested that a training plane crashed while landing at the bus terminal of Yusuf Goth near Ittehad Town of Baldia Karachi. Many buses parked in the bus terminal were badly damaged.

Edhi ambulance sources said at least two persons died and four others injured in the mishap. Police and personnel of law enforcing agencies cordoned off the area and began rescue activities.

Emergency was declared in the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) soon after the incident.
