ATC hands over accused to police on 14-day remand

KARACHI: An Anti Terrorism Court on Monday handed over an accused, Wasi Haider to police on 14-day remand in a police encounter case.

Police produced Wasi Haider before ATC and requested the court that accused is wanted to police for investigation regarding his alleged involved in killing of Ulema, and other sectarian killings.

The court accepted the police request and handed over accused to police on 14-day remand.

The accused was arrested from Karachi’s Federal B Industrial Area and belonged to a political party. He was allegedly involved in murder of religious scholars in the city.
