ATC hands over students on physical remand

KARACHI: An Anti Terrorism Court on Thursday sent 11 students of Dawood University of Engineering and Technology to police custody on four-day physical remand.

Jamsheed Quarter police produced 11 students of Dawood University of Engineering and Technology including Zakir, Asad, Jahenzaib Bilal, Ibrahim, Parwaiz, Zeeshan, Aamir Bilal, Maqsood, Abdul Samad and Hub Ali before ATC-III for allegedly possessing illegal weapons, and explosive material. The Investigation Officer (IO) requested the court to grant physical remand of students for 14 days, but the the Court allowed four-day physical remand.
