ATC issues Bikak’s NBW yet another time

KARACHI: An Ant-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday issued non-bailable warrant for the arrest of alleged gangster, Shahid Bikak in explosives material and illicit weapon case.

The accused was nominated in several cases of attempting to murder, attacking law enforcers and possessing illicit weapons and explosives including attack on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rasheed Godel.

Bikak is said to be a ringleader of a notorious gang involved in contract killings, kidnappings, extortion, drug peddling and other crimes. Earlier, the court had issued Bikak’s NBWs but police remained unable to arrest him.

In Saturday’s hearing the court once again directed the police to arrest him while issuing NBWs for his arrest yet another time.

It is pertinent to mention here that the accused was on bail for more than a year. Then the court was told by the police that he was disappeared in not available at the given addresses nor did his relatives know about his whereabouts.
