ATC sends alleged RAW agent on judicial remand

KARACHI: An Anti Terrorism Court (AEC) on Tuesday sent an alleged agent of Indian spy agency RAW, Nadeem, to jail on 14-day judicial remand in explosive material possession case.

According to Investigation Officer (IO), accused Nadeem during initial interrogation had confessed to receiving training from India and involving in terrorism activities in Karachi. The court ordered producing of challan in the next hearing.

Earlier, Nadeem was in police custody on 14-day physical remand in explosive material and illegal weapon case.

The accused is an employee of Karachi Water & Sewerage Board (KWSB) and sated to be affiliated with a political party. He was taken into custody from his office.
