Azadi Festival from 13th

KARACHI: Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi is going to organize two- day Azadi Festival from 13th to 14th August 2015 where photography, dramas, classical and regional dance performances, documentaries, patriotic songs and poetry consisting on freedom will be recited.

The programs will start from earlier of 13th August and end up with late night of 14th of August with zeal and joy.

Well known personalities including Anwar Maqsood, Kishwar Naheed, Abbas Tabish, Amjad Islam Amjad, Hasan Akbar, Rehana Ruhi, Seema Ghazal, Aijaz Rehmani, Khalid Mueen, Akhtar Saeedi and other artists will perform separately.

Secretary Arts Council Mohammad Ahmed Shah said festival is organized to promote the brotherhood, unity and love with country and national integration. He said: “We will have to be united against war of hate, darkness of ignorance and conservativeness.

He said along with other programs, art exhibition, music and dancing activities will remain continue till last day evening.
