Azadi March takes decisive turn-Pervez Khattak

Peshawar: KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said that IDPs of NWA have carved the 2nd golden of rendering matchless sacrifices after that of the people of Malakand division for the cause of the nation and country.

He also rejoiced over the bulk participation of the people of FATA including the IDPs in Azadi March saying that it was ample proof of the fact that side by side with the people of the rest of the country, the valiant inhabitants of FATA and IDPs also wanted a pure democratic system in the country free from corruption, nepotism and usurpation of basic rights of the people. He said people from all parts of the country are out and participating in the Azadi March with enthusiasm for the last one week since independence day despite undergoing scorching summer heat, hunger, thirst and sleeplessness.

Pervez Khattak said that he has given clear cut directive of the high ups of the provincial govt and heads of institutions to take care of the IDPs like other citizens of the province and even prefer them in mitigating their grievances. He said IDPs are our distinguish guest and their proper hospitality was essential part of our faith.

He was talking to various delegations of the PTI workers from FATA and Peshawar who called him in Islamabad and besides reiterating their pledge supporting and standing by Imran Khan in the Azadi March till achievement of the goal, also apprised him on certain problems faced by the IDPs in FR, Bannu, Lakki Marwat as well as civic problems of Peshawar. PTI provincial president Azam Khan Swati, General Secretary Khalid Masood and some other central and provincial leaders were also present on this occasion.

Chief Minister while assuring resolution of the problems of the IDPs on priority basis and issuing on the spot instructions to the authorities concerned, assured that no stone will be left unturned in their proper looking after and hospitality of the IDPs till their safe and honourable repatriation to their related tribal agencies. He also asked the PTI workers to focus full attention on welfare of IDPs in all the affected areas of FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as he said besides the mission of change, selfless service of the humanity and sacrificing for the cause of humanity was also part of our manifesto.

Pervez Khattak express satisfaction that entire nation has awakened on call of the Imran Khan. He said that we have no personal agenda or self interests. “We want a transparent and poor friendly system in the country based on supremacy of merit, law and justice”, he said adding that PTI endeavoured to windup the govts of queues and numbers wherein the rulers ruthlessly plundered and looted the public money with both hands.

He said that his party wanted to stampede all such outdated and exploitation based rules under the feet of nation and pave way for a new Pakistan where system and law was respected and not the personalities. He said that such a new Pakistan would make difference between rich and poor a story of the past and all would be treated equally. He said that western countries also got progress and prosperity by leaps and bounds by same principle of equality while we also wanted to get our nation rid of the Monarchs and dictatorial rulers and put them on road to progress and prosperity.

Chief Minister recalled that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is marching on road to peace and change in successful manner while we wanted such a system of equality and justice for all over the country where the system did not need personalities but institutions delivered to the masses automatically and protection of life, property and honour of each and every citizen is guaranteed.

He said that people would never had to knock the doors of Ministers and officers and beg them for facilities in the new Pakistan. He said that the nation did not accept the govt of rigging as he said silence of it would mean continuation of the slavery of the masses.

He said that Azadi March has entered into decisive phase while the entire nation prayed for its fruitful results. He assure the Peshawarites that besides implementing mass transit project in Peshawar and concrete steps for its beautification, the hygiene, sanitation and water supply services were being entrusted to private company so that the people could heave sigh of relief in this regard.
