BISP: (BISP to be extended to all parts of Balochistan: Marvi)

ISLAMABAD: Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Marvi Memon has said that government is committed to ensure transparency in the programme to provide financial support to more deserving people.

She stated this during a meeting with Balochistan Governor Mohammad Khan Achakzai in Quetta on Monday. She assured that all out efforts will be made to extend the programme to every part of Balochistan to help the deserving people.

She said Prime Minister has directed her to make this program more effective and successful in far-flung areas of the country. She said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wants to bring Balochistan at par with other parts of the country to remove sense of deprivation in the province.

Governor Mohammad Khan Achakzai underlined the need for accountability and transparency to make this programme effective so that needy people of the widespread areas would get benefit from BISP.
