BISP: (BSIP, Red Cross, pharma companies to start first aid training)

ISLAMABAD: Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Red Cross and pharmaceutical companies would join hands for provision of first aid training and blood screening tests to the beneficiaries of BISP in selected districts.

The decision to this effect was taken during a meeting of Chairperson BISP Marvi Memon with President of Canadian Red Cross Conrad Sauve and Chairman Pakistan Red Crescent Society here on Thursday.

Chairperson BISP stated that Rs 102 billion budget of the programme focuses on its core functions.
