BISP: (Over 44,000 families getting support under BISP in GB)

ISLAMABAD: Over 44, 000 families are getting support under Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) in Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to a spokesman of BISP, an amount of Rs 800 million is being released to them on annual basis. Besides, an amount of Rs 100 million is also being provided as stipend to 34, 000 deserving students of the area under Waseela-e-Taleem programme.

The deserving families are also getting benefits from Waseela Sehat and Waseela Rozgar scheme as well.
