Body found, four injured in city violence

KARACHI: A man was killed and four others were injured in different violence incidents in the metropolis on Sunday.

According to rescue sources, the body of a man, aged about 60, was found under the Sohrab Goth Bridge. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a postmortem.

In another firing incident, three youth, Farooq, 18, son of Yousaf, Maroof, 25, son of Khalil and Qamar, 25, son of Mumtaz, were shot and injured by unknown armed men in Garden. They were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.

Yet in another incident, a man, Abdur Rasheed, 50, son of Baloch Khan, was shot and injured by unknown gunmen at Street 38 in Shairshah. He was brought to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
