Bomb defused in Baldia

KARACHI: Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused a 10-kg remote control bomb in Baldia Town on Tuesday. SP Baldia Sajid Sudozai said that the bomb, holding 8 ball-bearings, plates and iron nuts, was found near A-25 bus stop in Saeedabad, Baldia Town.

After receiving information about the bomb, rangers and police cordoned off the area and police called the BDS. Later, the bomb was successfully defused saving area from a massive destruction, he added.
