Book fair continues at FUUAST

Karachi: A three-day book fair continued in Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST), organized by Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT) here on Wednesday.

The book fair ceremony was presided by Senator of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Nihal Hashmi and Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) leader Haleem Adil Shaikh. They lauded the efforts of IJT and expected these type of events would be organized on regular basis.

Hashmi and Shaikh visited the exhibition and showed keen interest in the books by visiting different stalls.

A large number of publishers and booksellers participated in the three-day book fair which would continue till Thursday.

The students and teachers showed keen interest in the books, where a healthy percentage of discount was provided on all books.

The book fair is being organized by the Study Aid Project of the Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT).
