Breast Cancer Clinic set up at Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: The Breast Cancer Clinic has been established at Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi. Principal Rawalpindi Medical College and Allied Hospital, Professor Dr. Mohammad Umar who inaugurated the Clinic said the condition of breast cancer in Pakistan is alarming as the country has highest incidence of breast cancer in Asia. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Pakistani women and different studies reveal that it kills nearly 40,000 women every year in the country. According to World Health Organization, breast cancer rates are getting worse and trend is more towards younger age group.
