Sialkot: Sector Commander Chenab Rangers Brig Waseem has said that the Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) was targeting the innocent people in Sialkot border villages along the Sialkot Working Boundary, as the Indian BSF was targeting civilian population in Sialkot border villages on eve of every religious festival in Pakistan, violating the Ceasefire Accord especial for the last two consecutive years, in this regard.
Giving detailed briefing about the Indian war aggression along the Sialkot Working Boundary here, Brig Waseem told the newsmen that Indian BSF was targeting the civilian population in Sialkot border villages, while, the Chenab Rangers were retaliating effectively as there was no civilian targeting by the Chenab Rangers. “Chenab Rangers are the most committed than the Indian Border Security Forces (BSF)”, as the CR were not targeting the Indian Civilian Population”, he added. “On every religious festival in Pakistan, the Indian BSF targeting civilian population in Sialkot border villages”, he added.
Brig Waseem revealed that in October 2013, the Indian BSF had targeted Sialkot border villages on eve of Eidul Azha from October 17 to 19 in 2014, Indian BSF targeted Sialkot border villages during this Holy month of Ramzan and even on Eidul Fitar, this massive unprovoked intensified Indian shelling started on July 16, 2014 and remained continued till August 28, 2014.
Now, Indian BSF also targeted civilian population in Sialkot border villages during the Eidul Azha Days, killing 9 persons and injuring seriously more than 33 persons including innocent children and women as well, besides, killing the dozens of the cattle there.
Sector Commander Chenab Rangers Brig Waseem disclosed that the Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) has made 31 violations of ceasefire on Sialkot Working Boundary during the 2014 (before this massive shelling on Sialkot border villages), in which five personnel of the Chenab Rangers were injured, seven civilian persons were martyred, 18 people were injured seriously, 12 cattle were killed, damaging many more buildings.
He said that in 2013, Indian BSF made 33 violations of Ceasefire, in which three Jawans of the Chenab Rangers were injured, one citizen was martyred, 22 people were injured, damaging many houses. In 2012, the Indian BSF made 27 violations of Ceasefire, in which a Jawan of the Chenab Rangers was injured, 8 civilian people were injured.
“Now, the Indian BSF is targeting civilian population especially on every religious festival or Independence Day celebrations in Pakistan for the last two years”, he narrated.
