Call to remove cylinders from commercial vehicle

KARACHI: President Karachi Transport Action Committee (KTAC) Mohammad Ashraf Banglori has expressed concern over rising tragic accidents due to gas cylinders and appealed to the government to take action for protection of passengers and issue a notification to remove the gas cylinder immediately.

He said: “If public don’t have any benefit from CNG-converted vehicles, then why passengers are getting risk to lose valuable lives.”

Banglori said commercial vehicles have become a bomb which is very dangerous for citizens. He said transporters get high benefits from CNG vehicles and put public lives at stake.

He demanded of the government of Sindh and Commissioner Karachi to issue orders for removal of CNG cylinders from commercial vehicles so as to save lives of passengers.
