Call to solve minority’s issues

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Sindh leader Naz Baloch said on Monday ignorance to minority issues in the country is increasing frustration among minorities, which is not in the interest of country.

She said this while speaking to a roundtable conference on minority rights, organized by a NGO, Peace Education and Development (PED), at local hotel.

On the occasion Samina Imtiaz, Executive Director of PED Foundation also spoke.

The members of Sindh Assembly including Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) member Nusrat Sehar Abbasi, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) member Peso Mal, journalist Mazhar Abbas, Moin Ullah Shah, Shakeel Shaikh, Ammad Khalid Director PED Foundation also spoke and stressed the need to eliminate extremisms of every type.

They said if justice is doled out to minorities it would help the county and nation.
