Case filed against Altaf Hussain

KARACHI: A case has been registered against Chief Muttahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain by Rangers spokesperson Colonel Tahir in Civil Lines police station on Tuesday.

The case has been filed on the basis of Altaf Hussain’s threatening remarks against Rangers personnel after rangers’ raid at Nine Zero, the MQM headquarters. Hussain had reportedly delivered the threatening statement in an interview to a local news channel.

The case has been registered under Pakistan Panel Code, Anti-Terrorism Act 7 & 56/b.
