CJP withdraws nomination of acting CEC

ISLAMABAD: The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk on Monday withdrew the nomination of Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, a Supreme Court’s judge, as acting Chief Election Commissioner (CEC). The nomination of Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali has been withdrawn w.e.f December 05. Moreover, Secretary, Election Commission has been informed in this regard.
