Clean drinking water: RO plant installed in JPMC

KARACHI: The Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center’s administration has installed reverse-osmosis (RO) plant in healthcare to provide clean drinking water to patients and staff.

The RO plant has been installed in the hospital to overcome waterborne diseases and provide clean drinking water to visiting patients, attendants and medical staff. The plant has 15,000 gallons of water capacity and has started functioning.

Deputy Director Administration & Focal Person, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Dr Jawaid Akhter Jamali, said that the hospital administration had installed RO plant in healthcare to provide clean drinking water to patients and employees. He said installation of machinery had been completed and plant started functioning.

He said hundreds of people will get benefit from the RO Plant on daily basis. He said JPMC administration is planning to install another RO plant in surgical building and its installation work will be done in three months.
