Cleanliness Day for dengue eradication observed at RAC

RAWALPINDI: Cleanliness Day for the eradication of Dengue was observed devotedly by Rawalpindi Arts Council here on Sunday. An anti-dengue walk led by Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed started from the Council passing through Double Road ended at Nawaz Sharif Park Murree Road.

At the end of walk, Resident Director Waqar Ahmed distributed pamphlets among the participants. Addressing at the occasion, he said that cleanliness is the half of faith if everybody feels his responsibility, dengue virus and such kind of things would be abolished automatically. Before walk, RAC staff participated in cleanliness campaign, and besides cleanliness of RAC offices, fountain was de-watered and flower beds were cleaned properly. For the awareness of general public, a documentary film on dengue is shown before starting of every program at the auditorium of this Council.
